The game covers for the Kingdom Hearts titles have always been intriguing and the cover for its latest installment, Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, is no exception to that.
The cover was revealed on Square Enix E-Store's Twitter page and is made by non other than Mr. Tetsuya Nomura himself. It's set over a blue sky and clouds background and has the short, silver haired Riku floating upwards while Mickey is reaching out to the sleeping and falling Sora. See the box art for yourself here.
So what are your thoughts on the Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance box art? Does it come out on top compared to the box art of the other games in the series? Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance is out in Japan on March 29.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep will be available in the West this week but Japanese gamers are already classing the PSP title as old news. Re:Coded however is the main topic of conversation between Japanese fans of the collaborative series from Disney and Square Enix.
To cater for this thirst for Re:Coded news, Japanese magazine 'Famitsu' have featured the upcoming Nintendo DS game a number of times. Western fans hardly ever find the means to read the Famitsu articles word for word but the magazine's screenshots are interesting non-the-less.
KHInsider have generously provided scans of the latest Re:Coded coverage in Famitsu and we've included them in the full story to view.
On another note, the Official Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded Japanese Box Art has been confirmed and can be seen below. The image features the game's main characters and a few of the 'bug' blocks that players will be seeing a lot of during the game.
