Chris Sanders, co-writer and director of the popular 2002 film Lilo and Stitch, is confirmed to reprise his role as the voice of Stitch in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.
Sanders notably left Disney, and questions remained about whether he would still reprise his role in the upcoming video game, but according to a member on KHInsider.com, that's exactly what he'll be doing. In an email, he also confirms that he's finished his recording sessions for the game.
This is great news for Kingdom Hearts fans who are paying particular interest in the English localization and news on voice actors. It also confirms the obvious news that Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep will be featuring English voices when it arrives on Western shores.
As previously stated we already know Lilo and Stitch are due to feature their own world in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. Having previously talked about the latest edition of Jump Magazine here.
It's now possible to actually see a new scan from the same magazine, depicting some screenshots from the new world "Deep Space".Previously it was unknown what capacity they would appear in, but it's now known that Stitch will appear as a support character. Gantu from Lilo and Sitch will also feature as a boss battle, and we also get to see some of Aqua's abilities.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep is coming out exclusively on the Sony PSP and is scheduled for release in Japan during December, 2009. There is still yet to be a confirmed western release date.
News is emanating from Japan based on the latest edition of the Jump Magazine, which states that Lilo and Stitch will be appearing in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. As well as this, they will also be featuring in their own world, Deep Space.
It is said that they are encountered by Terra aboard a giant spaceship. Cinderella is also said to be featuring in the same story.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep is coming out exclusively on the Sony PSP and is scheduled for release in Japan during December, 2009. There is no confirmed western release as of now.
