ABU

KINGDOM HEARTS

MINOR CHARACTER

Abu is a monkey from Aladdin, a Disney film released in 1992. He makes an appearance as Aladdin's sidekick during Kingdom Hearts, but his actual contribution is limited in the game. However, He does have a small role to play while the group are in the Cave of Wonders as his help is required to solve some of the puzzles.

KINGDOM HEARTS II

MINOR CHARACTER

In Kingdom Hearts 2, Abu has a much more prominent role to play. He steals the black lamp from the Peddler's shop, but instead of being rewarded, Aladdin forces him to take it back. Before they can however, they discover that the lamp contains the Genie of Jafar.

When the group end up back inside the Cave of Wonders, instead of helping, Abu proves to be a hinderance. His love for treasure causes him to trigger a trap, but he is able to make amends, as he solves the puzzle, thus enabling them to escape.

After defeating the Blizzard and Volcanic Lords, Abu attempts to leave the Cave of Wonders with a gem. Seeing what Abu is trying to do, Donald stops him and takes it. Ironically, after scalding Abu, he then tries to keep it for himself.

KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 DAYS

MINOR CHARACTER

Abu is set to return in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days along side Aladdin and the other cast from the Disney film, Aladdin.
