Kingdom Hearts

Minor Character

The Card Soldiers are literally human playing cards that act as guards for the Queen of Hearts. They come in all the various numbers and suits found within the playing deck from 1 to 10, as well as the face cards. They appear in the Wonderland section of Kingdom Hearts, which relates to the Disney Film, Alice in Wonderland, released in 1951 following the stories from the Lewis Carrol book.

In Kingdom Hearts, they stand guard during Alice's trial. However, when Sora manages to prove that Alice in fact innocent, the Queen of Hearts orders them to attack. Later when Alice is kidnapped, the Card Soldiers are sent to locate her, but they are unsuccessful in their search.

When Sora fights against the Queen of Hearts, the Card Soldiers provide her with support.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

Minor Character

The Card Soldiers return in Kingdom Hearts: Chains of Memories during the Wonderland segment. They fight against Sora, but are defeated which allows him to obtain their Enemy Card. Aside from helping out the Queen of Hearts their role is very minimal.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Minor Character

The Card Soldiers appear to support the Queen of Hearts in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. They are seen at the trial where Roxas and Luxord are being accused by the Queen of Hearts.

Kingdom Hearts coded

Minor Character

With the release of Episode 3 featuring Wonderland and various screenshots appearing, it has become apparent that the Card Soldiers make an appearance in Kingdom Hearts Coded. They appear in a screenshot where Sora is talking to Alice.
