Minor Character

Iago featured in the Disney film Aladdin as Jafar's pet parrot, although his constant aggravation seemed to cause much distress to Jafar. During Kingdom Hearts his role was very minor often appearing just sat on Jafars shoulder, although later he is the one who steals the Genie's lamp from Aladdin.

In the final boss battle with Jafar, Iago carries the lamp around in the air as a means of keeping it away from Sora and Aladdin, however, when Jafar is defatted and drawn into the lamp, Iago ends up inside it with him.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

Minor Character

Iago appears in Chains of Memories for a very short section, where he appears holding the lamp during a battle with Jafar.

Kingdom Hearts II

Minor Character

Iago escaps Jafar's side and eventually bumps into Sora and company. Iago is not trusted at first, and his change of heart is only proved when he saves them from a group of Heartless.

Iago steals back Jafar's lamp from Pete further proving his loyalty, however, when Jafar is released he is forced to trick Sora and Aladdin into entering some ruins, his trust shattered.

He redeems himself once more when the group face Jafar for the last time, and Iago blocks an attack aimed at Aladdin.

Kingdom Hearts coded

Minor Character

Iago makes another appearance in Coded he steals the lamp from Sora and also holds it during the fight against Jafar once more.
