Kingdom Hearts

Oogie Boogie a somewhat malevolent character from the Nightmare Before Christmas, is working under the instructions of Maleficent. He steals the artificial heart from Doctor Finklestein, and in an attempt to gain control of the Heartless Oogie Boogie eats it.

Annoyed at this failure Oogie Boogie strikes at Sora and the others, in a rather strange Casino beneath his house. After being beaten he merges his form with his entire house, once again he is defeated by Sora and Jack.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

Villain

Oogie Boogie appears in Kingdom Hearts: Chains of Memories as one of Sora's memories. This time however he tries to steal a research project that Jack Skellington was working on.

He eventually succeeds in taking the item he was after, which turns out to be a Memory Potion, he drinks it and it triggers him to become terrified of a vision he remembers. He also appears in Riku's story as a dark memory which is defeated.

Kingdom Hearts II

Villain

Oogie Boogie was brought back to life by Maleficent with the aid of Lock, Shock and Barrel. Although his memory is not returned to him. Oogie Boogie follows Maleficent's orders and goes to capture Santa Claus from Christmas Town in order to turn him into a Heartless. He also plans to turn the present making machine into a machine for making Heartless.

When Sora and the others find out about this and confront him he abandons Maleficent's plan causing her to be leave in anger. He then battles Sora and loses just like before.
