As mentioned in Kingdom Hearts Union Podcast 31, we talked a bit about Dream Drop Distance's playable demo at TGS. However, with the 3DS receiving massive price cuts, it may be worth wondering how it'll effect the game's future.
So our question for you is with the recent struggles of the 3DS, what do you think about the fate of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance?
More information has now been revealed about Kingdom Hearts 3DS' story following another interview with Tetsuya Nomura's. It was conducted by none other than, Famitsu magazine.
Nomura has revealed that the story this time around will not be as "drawn-out" like previous titles. What this means is Dream Drop Distance's cutscenes will be integrated with the playing experience therefore fans will be able to control the cutscene. This is so that gamers will never feel like they have to stop playing just because a cutscene happens. This will be similar to the gameplay style announced for Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
Still no word on when fans will actually be able to see the game, however, this seems like an interesting new direction for the game.
