When our parent site Gaming Union went to TGS 2009 and got their hands on a vast amount of new games in production, they decided to award those with more merit, for standing out above the competition.
While there are quite a lot of PSP games to choose from Gaming Union narrowed it down to their final three choices; Final Fantasy Agito XIII, Valkyria Chronicles 2, and of course Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep was their chosen PSP Game of TGS 2009, and was highly commended for giving players the chance to experience much more of the backstory to Kingdom Hearts and for its improved gameplay and multiplayer components.
The latest issue of V-Jump Magazine has confirmed that Neverland will be one of the worlds featuring in Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. Also showing that Peter Pan will be in the game alongside the Lost Boys and Tinkerbell.
Although there isn't a great deal of information divulged as of yet about how it will feature in the game or what to expect, there were some images of a new multiplayer mode as well.
Birth By Sleep will be coming out on the PSP in December in Japan, while no North American or European release date has been been announced. We'll have some hands-on impressions from Tokyo Game Show soon.
With Tokyo Game Show 2009 on the horizon, Square Enix recently divulged what would be appearing during the prestigious Japanese event.
Revealing that both Kingdom Hearts Coded, their mobile game, and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, for the Sony PlayStation Portable, would feature at the show.
Kingdom Hearts Coded will only be showcasing a trailer, however, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep will be featuring not only a trailer, but a playable demo of the game as well.
TGS 2009 will run from the 24th to the 27th of September. So stay tuned for more coverage from TGS 2009 as time draws closer.
