It has been a while since we last reported any updates on the North American Birth by Sleep Website, but it doesn't mean that there weren't any. Square Enix have recently added some new videos, maps and screenshots that we have listed in the full story so that you, the readers, can see what is new.
Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded has had a new trailer out for a couple of days now, but since it is in Japanese, Western fans may not know what's going on. For this reason alone, KHInsider.com have translated all of the spoken dialogue in the trailer so that we can all enjoy the trailer and actually have a clue what's going on.
Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded is of course the latest Kingdom Hearts game to be developed by Square Enix. Originally a mobile phone game available exclusively in Japan under the name Kingdom Hearts: Coded, the game has been updated to fit the Nintendo DS's capabilities.
The game is due for release in Japan on the 7th of October but no news on a Western release, but for now, Western fans will just have to make do with the trailer in the full story.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep is just over a month away from its Western release date and fans will be happy to know that a brand new trailer has been released, in English.
Gamespot.com have had the exclusive pleasure to release the new trailer with never before seen English cut-scenes and battle sequences. It seems like a lifetime has passed since the game's original Japanese release date back in January but Western fans only have to wait til the 7th of September to finally get their hands on the PSP title.
Gamespot also had the privilege of sitting down with the game's Director, Tetsuya Nomura, to talk about many various topics about the game itself and how it came to be. A small snippet of the interview can be found in the full story along with the new trailer.
Square Enix has published a new gameplay trailer for Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, highlighting Aqua, Terra and Ventus battling all over the place, in all their flashy goodness. The trailer shows off a few environments we've seen through other trailers and screens, but no less Disney and Kingdom Hearts fans should be able to recognize the worlds of Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty in the trailer. Unfortunately no breaking developments from this video, but it sure is pretty to watch.
The trailer is also in English, however there's virtually no speech aside from battle grunting. Alongside the grunting are plenty of special attacks and spells. Check out the video below, or click here to watch it in HD.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep releases September 7th in North America, and September 10th in Europe.
A new trailer for the upcoming PSP title Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep has been released in an update of the official Birth by Sleep website.
The trailer previously seen at this years Jump Festa, an event for anime and video games in Japan, has finally been released to the public on the official site for Birth by Sleep. Coupled with the new trailer were three new wallpapers and new images showing us more of the multiplayer aspect of the game.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep will be available soon in Japan on the 9th of January, 2010. There has still been no confirmed release date for the West though.
A brand new, high quality, video of the upcoming PSP title, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, has just been released confirming that Sora and Riku will be featured in the game.
The video is essentially an advertisement for the game to be released on the 9th of January, 2010 in Japan. Twenty one seconds into the video, it is confirmed that Sora and Riku will make an appearance in the new game and will also be younger than in previous Kingdom Hearts, this makes sense as Birth By Sleep is set 10 years before the events of the first game. The video is in Japanese of course, but European and American viewers can enjoy the vast array of levels and gameplay shown in our full story.
Hopefully after the Japanese release of Birth By Sleep, we will start to see some advertisements for the Western release of the game, coupled with that all elusive release date for the West.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days has been out for only two months, but fans are eagerly anticipating the next title in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and what better way for Square Enix to tease fans than with a few new gameplay videos.,
They come as part of the latest official site update, and can be found by accessing the "system" section. The first video shows us the Shoot Lock abilities for Terra, Aqua and Ven, while the second video gives us a look at a few Deck Commands.
With the game is not far away from its Japanese release, expect to see more and more information filtering out about Birth by Sleep, especially after Final Fantasy XIII is out of the way.
