ESRB Passes Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
The ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) have recently passed the PSP title Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep with an 'Everyone 10+' rating.
The content of Birth by Sleep has been described as fantasy violence and is also said to contain mild suggestive themes. A brief summary of the game has also been included with the ESRB's rating and can be read below, be warned however as it contains a minor spoiler:
This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of one of three characters aspiring to become a "Keyblade" master. Players explore fantasy worlds, perform missions and mini-games, and battle various enemies along the way. Characters use magic spells and a giant key-shaped sword to attack enemies (e.g., humans, ice golems, dragons, magical suits of armor) in melee-style combat. Enemies react to damage by crying out in pain or bursting into small orbs that serve as items and power-ups for players. One cutscene depicts a man sinking a keyblade into his chest as a burst of light appears. A female character's breasts jiggle slightly during cut-scenes.
A lot of the summary is information we already knew but the last few points are somewhat notable, for instance who is this man who is 'sinking' a keyblade into his chest? The other point, although not that important, is a little interesting, do people really want to see 'jiggling' breasts in a Disney game? On that note though, young players may not even notice and the older gamers will hopefully be mature enough to look past it, it's still kind of odd that Square Enix included these so called 'Jiggle Physics' though.
