Kingdom Hearts 3D - All The Info You Need From Jump Festa
It seems as though there was a reason for the massive Kingdom Hearts news drought these past few months. This year's Jump Festa event which took place this past weekend offered a ton of interesting information for Kingdom Hearts fans to savour over before the coming of Dream Drop Distance. If you missed the 8 minute trailer, not to fear as we will provide you will all the need to know facts for this upcoming title.
Firstly, some new 'The World Ends With You' cameos have been revealed. In the trailer we see Rhyme, Shiki, and Joshua interacting with the main characters looking as cool as ever.
There were also quite a few returning Kingdom Hearts characters among the group. Terra-Xehanort made an appearance as well as Vanitas, Xion, and Roxas. Axel was also featured in this trailer but it seems as though he hasn't made the full crossover just yet as he still insists one being called Lea. He also doesn't seem to have the markings under his eyes as he does in the later titles like Kingdom Hearts 2 and 358/2. Kairi is also in the trailer for a short time before turning into Namine. Special thanks to Banaz for gathering up the information!
Amongst the Disney characters, Maleficent and Pete are back. Whether or not they're working with each other at this point is uncertain. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are also featured wearing their 3 Musketeers outfits. A few more scenes from both the Pinnochio and the Hunchback of Notre Dame worlds were featured and, for those of you scared about Monstro, it seems like he might be back this time although, as discussed in the latest Kingdom Hearts Union Episode, the developers probably have learned their lessons from Kingdom Hearts 1. One of the more surprising reveals in this trailer was the Tron Legacy bit. Sora is featured taking part in a shooting game while gliding. Although if this is the case, Tron won't be as friendly this time as he was in the first game as he's turned to the dark side in the Tron Legacy film.
Finally, we've learned that Dream Drop Distance will indeed be out March 2012 in Japan. Hopefully, the trailer will be posted up on Youtube soon for us to share but at the moment it seems as though Square Enix is taking them down as fast as they are uploading them, so please stay tuned.
