Kingdom Hearts titles are well known among fans to contain secret videos and endings for players who wish to put in the extra effort to unlock them. Players who purchase Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded may be surprised to learn that it is not a video that they can unlock, it's a conversation.

Tetsuya Nomura, Kingdom Hearts' Director, revealed the news via Twitter, explaining that there would be no movie or event scene, it would be more accurate to call it a "secret talk". It may sound a little underwhelming but the conversation will hold great importance in regards to future events.

It's hard to say if this was Nomura's decision from the start or whether Square Enix's famously beautiful visuals were simply too much for the Nintendo DS's capabilities. Either way, the title has enough features to look past something as minimal as graphics.

Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded will be available in Japan on the 7th of October.
