The Kingdom Hearts Ultimania guidebook was released two days ago in Japan and featured an interview with Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura about Birth by Sleep.

KHInsider members krexia and Lissar have worked together to provide a full translation of the Interview contained within the guidebook. The Interview contains spoilers of Birth by Sleep and key story elements, Nomura also speaks about future Kingdom Hearts titles and his plan for releasing them.

After being asked what is next for the Kingdom Hearts series after Birth by Sleep, Nomura replies 'For now while FF Versus XIII is still being worked on, there isn’t much I can do on KHIII, but we’ve already begun work on the next game in the series. There is one that we are hoping to be able to release within this year. Then the next year there is one more game we are planning on releasing. I think it will probably make the main character[s?] more complicated'.

This is certainly not what fans awaiting KH3 were hoping to hear, there is of course the subject of what game Nomura mentions that is possibly seeing a release this year.
