Birth by Sleep Final Mix has been dated for release in Japan by Square Enix today, confirming that the game will be arriving on store shelves on the 20th of January, 2011. The game is in fact a revision of both the previous Japanese and International versions and will be priced at 6,090 yen on the day of release.

The new date confirmed by Square Enix is a week earlier than previous news had suggested. This is good news for fans as waiting for games is usually an unsettling experience. Square Enix have previously teased the game's extra content but have now compiled a list of all the features in somewhat vague descriptions as seen below.

In addition to the list, Birth by Sleep Final Mix will include a code to unlock Kingdom Hearts Cloud in the upcoming Dissidia 012 game. This version of Cloud is certainly another incentive for fans of the popular Square Enix franchises to pick up the game, but is it enough for fans who own the original copy?
